I remember the Goosebumps ones. I used to borrow them from my brother all the time. Must go up to the attic and see if I can rescue them...
The Goosebumps ones weren't exactly the same as the others by the sound of it. The ones I had may have been called "Choose You Own Scare" or Nightmare or...
Well, it's been a while since I read it, but I thought it was a great book (must try and reread sometime).
To me the group seemed like "desperate housewives" trying to get free of their troubled family lives in quite extreme ways.
I'd say some more... but I really don't remember enough...
1) How many books have you bought in the past 2 years?
a. Fiction: about 101 (I haven't kept track of what books I buy very well.)
b. Non Fiction: 10
2) On average, how many pages do they contain?
g. 300-350 (guessing because I don't want to even try calculating it :p )
3) How many...
This month I got through:
The Blind Assassin - Margaret Atwood
Go Ask Alice - Anon
Empress Orchis - Anchee Min
The Time Traveler's Wife - Audrey Noffenegger
Murder in the Dark - Margaret Atwood
And 13 volumes of manga. :p The Blind Assassin I started at the end of last month though...
Bringing this thread back to life so I can vent. Bear with me...
I absolutely loathe hackers. They ruin things for others and spoil the hard work of good people. Why am I bringing this up? A forum I frequent and have been with for over 2 years now, has been hacked by some people who just will...
It seems to keep popping up for me in the last week, so I went ahead and made an account. I'm listening to my music right now, so it's adding them as I go, but I don't have much on it as of yet.

Just saw the movie today so I can finally answer this question. :D It has been a while since I read the book, but I'll try my best to remember things.
I didn't feel very satisfied with the transition from book to movie. The sisters' journey from their home village was rushed, Nobu had two...
I know it wasn't directed at me, but I don't think it is the same person. Wikipedia doesn't have a date of death for the writer and when I searched for the other person it said he was in his 50's, and the writer would be older.
Hope that helps. :)
The series is called the Women of the Otherworld or The Otherworld series and currently comprises of 6 books. The first two (Bitten and Stolen) focus on the story of a female werewolf (the only female infact). The next two (Dime Store Magic and Industrial Magic) focus on the story of a female...
I hear you! I just finished my last exam today and have a whole week before school starts up again. :D Who knows, I might actually get some reading done now.
Took a while for it to click in my brain (a few days, maybe a week) but... You met Zoe Keating! I love Rasputina. Sadly I think she has left Rasputina now.
I have to admit it... mine is a book thing. :o It's the design from the paperback verion of Garth Nix's Lirael. It isn't avaliable on the HaperCollins site I got it from, but I have uploaded it to my image shack account: http://img162.imageshack.us/my.php?image=lirael0gb.jpg
It used to be a...
In terms of books I guess my real guilty pleasure is actually buying books. I know I have around 50 unread on my shelves, but I can't resist a bargain book, especially one I want to read. :o
With a Google search I turned up something that sounded similar, but I'm not sure since I can't find much. It might be Kaleidoscope by Ray Bradbury. I found a random comment on a website which said:
Sound like it?
