    Fantasty genre dead?

Fantasy can be more than that, but sadly the most popular fantasy series are those neverending "epic fantasy" that follows the basic plot of LOTR. So i guess the readers can blame themselves if they dont get anything else.

    The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen

The movie was not that bad really, but it should not have used that name.

    Honoré de Balzac

The only one i have read so far is "Splendeurs et miseres des courtisanes". I'm not sure what the title is in english but i liked it a lot. I also have "Eugenie Grandet" somewhere in my tbr pile, and that is often referred to as one of the best of the human comedy series. I think they are...

    what language should I choose??

While I agree with some of what you say it can be hard to appreciate the book in its original language unless you really know it well. And I dont know about you but I find that when I dont use the language often I tend to forget a lot of it. I did learn german for some years but I find i hardly...

If you could design a justice system

I did that once when i travelled to america. I had to tick a box on a card if i intended to commit a crime or terrorist activities during my visit. Would be even better if i could wear that as a hat.

    Bad song lyrics.

Thats a great album cover. But the world of bad metal covers and band pictures is a dangerous place. With all this talk of manowar you need to see a video of them. Here is a nice song with lyrical gems like We wear leather We wear spikes We rule the night...

    "Dumbledore Is Gay" says Rowling

That depends on if the author wants to make a feminine "hello i'm the gay man in this story" character, or not. Neil Gaiman said it better than i can.

Saddest/Most Depressing Novel You've Ever Read

The diary of a superfluous man by Ivan Turgenev. Its not really a big tear-jerker, but gives me a feeling i have not experienced from many other books.

    "Dumbledore Is Gay" says Rowling

The question you should ask yourself is why is it important for you if she says Dumbledore is gay or not? Are you surprised/shocked that gay people exist? It should not even be seen as newsworthy.
