Fantasy can be more than that, but sadly the most popular fantasy series are those neverending "epic fantasy" that follows the basic plot of LOTR.

I did that once when i travelled to america. I had to tick a box on a card if i intended to commit a crime or terrorist activities during my visit. Would be even better if i could wear that as a hat.

The question you should ask yourself is why is it important for you if she says Dumbledore is gay or not? Are you surprised/shocked that gay people exist? It should not even be seen as newsworthy.
