    Let's talk about people.

I have a loud laugh, so I am actually the person at the party that is just laughing and smiling. Everyone says I am very charismatic and that is why am so good with people. Well, that and other reasons ha ha Ahh, there is the honesty by saying you work semi-hard to achieve them. If you were...

    Let's talk about people.

To stop growing is to stop living. That is what I live by. I am always one to keep trying new things. I am also bad about trying to fit more and more things in to my life. You only live once (well, if that is your belief hee hee) Those that are not content/happy in their lives are really not...

    Let's talk about people.

Don't worry I won't quit my day job to become a poet  I believe it is true to open the pathways back up or at least to change them. It is not as though we can't learn new things in life. It is just more difficult for us to as we get older. Also our emotions get in the way. When you find...

    Let's talk about people.

Freud was not perfect by any means, but also we can see how the computer has developed. We laugh at the earlier computers, but also are amazed at how far we have come. We should be doing the same with psychology :) The learning we do as a child is one that is making new pathways in our brains...

    Let's talk about people.

I am the same with religion. It is because for some that is their deep beliefs and who is to say what one believes is wrong? That is unless it is affecting their life in a very negative manner (but then I am not talking about religion there, but more mental illness). Then if one has a mental...

    Let's talk about people.

I am a content person :) I find happiness in a lot of things. I smile and laugh a lot. There is never a lot of time between my laughing or at least smiling. Although at times I think some people think that my intelligence is lower than it is because I have a great sense of humor. Now that would...

    Let's talk about people.

I think first off people need to realize that they should not be trying to attain happiness as that is a such a fleeting emotion. It is contentment that I strive for. Contentment encompasses anything that comes my way..good or bad..If I can still feel content with where I am in my life then all...

You should do that...make a new one starting with your last post (the one previous to this) :)

I think it is a matter of being able to define the emotion so that the reader understands and can feel it just as the character is. I agree with you about the truth. I always tell my clients that they need to process their emotions and how each situation/circumstance has affected their lives...

    Let's see your work area

One of my professors in undergrad told me that a story needs dialogue and to tell a truth. His assignments were always less than a page long. I still have my favorite one that I wrote. I kind of wish I could write like that again. I suppose if I find some subject from work that may help me then...

    Let's see your work area

Maybe. I was thinking back how I have been there for a few years now and there is so much I have learned. I just wonder how much more I will learn after a few more years :) You never know-I may come up with something great ha ha I love your quote :)

Oh, I am jealous. I always wanted to be a writer. I thought I had such insight that I should share it  I learned that isn't necessarily so though. I do know I have insight, but it is better used as a counselor :) That is great that you found your "perfect job."

So what do you do? If you don't mind answering :)

    Let's see your work area

Thanks I appreciate that. I have to say that once I got my Master's/this job I hated all my jobs. It was just not what I was meant to do :) I knew that I should be a counselor for so long and finally being able to do it was wonderful. :)

    Let's see your work area

I have my Master's and am working towards my licenses so that eventually I can open my own private practice. There are a lot of places that you don't need your Master's (actually my facility you don't). I absolutely love it! Seriously it is just what I always wanted to do and really love it.

I don't mind. Just don't let it scare you- I am a counselor at an inpatient facility.

Oh, I think we have all worked with idiots hee hee I think I spend way too much time "cleaning" up after staff ha ha

    Let's see your work area

 In my "past life" I worked at home a bit, but I honestly missed the social interaction.

    Let's see your work area

I can relate to that. I like things to be in their place and lined up perfectly for my house :) I can't exactly say that I can do that at my job with sharing desks

That is not nearly as cluttered as I thought it would be:)
