I've noticed that many novels are released in both Abridged & unabridged formats. My wife only wants it if it's unabridged. I've seen some 12-16 CD length books hangin' around the stereo.

I basically live at the library. I know the staff rather well and that helps me "influence" them in which books to order for me and my family.

This was one of the few books that I've read about halfway and decided not to continue. I can't really recall much about it other than I didn't enjoy it at all. I'm not going get on a high horse and trash Gene Wolfe as an author or anything like that, I just didn't care for the story whatsoever.

Interesting phenomenon occuring here. Generally on internet message boards abuse runs rampant, but we can't seem to generate any. I guess all that reading has elevated us to a higher state of consciousness. Me, I'm a pretty laid back type of guy and don't have a yen for personal attacks...
