i've read High Fidelity. i was excited to come across the book; the movie is one of my favorites. it took me a while to finish it though. whenever i'd pick it up i'd read over 100 pages at a time, but sometimes it was hard to get me to pick it up again.. like i read 2 or so other books inbetween
i've only read Grapes of Wrath and Of Mice and Men for school. i prefered Of Mice and Men. Grapes of Wrath had more substance behind it, but i enjoyed reading Of Mice and Men a whole lot more. Grapes of Wrath just never.. ended.
damn i have no clue. i got addicted to these valley girls junior or w/e it was called.. the series.. there was another series i really liked.. and with the babysitters club, i read the books about the younger sister..
hm it depends. i don't always have time to read at home, even though lately i've been reading for 30-50 minutes before falling asleep. i dont read at home at all if i'm busy with school. i read in school, especally first period. last marking period i'd read in my 3rd period. i did today...
i took out the following out of the library today:
candide - voltaire (i read an excerpt in class and liked it actually)
god bless you, Dr. Kevorkian - Kurt Vonnegut
wasted - marya hornbacher
i've been trying to get into the Green Mile by stephen king but it hasn't completely gripped me yet. i started reading wasted - marya hornbacher in class today.
the poconos? lol. its becoming more crowded the past few years tho..
i didn't even fear terrorism when i lived 8 miles away from NYC. maybe i'm still that naive
i rarely buy CDs, unless i cannot download the music for the life of me. i haven't listened to a CD almost a year.. except on my stereo. i just transfer them to my ipod, but songs from CDs are quieter which annoys me.
books.. i've been buying more lately. its kind of pointless considering...
i guess i started reading when i was 7 or so. i used to take out literally 20 books from the public library - driving my mother and the librarian crazy.
hype definatly spoils a movie. i think so far all of the movies that i've fallen in love with were movies that i came across randomly so i knew nothing about them. therefore no hype to give anything away or disallusion it.
i've got an AP European History test and a physics test to worry about for tomorrow. meh. luckily i've been studying all week so i only really have to worry about the essays for AP Euro. problem is, i hate the topics of the essays. meh.
