i was actually thinking about that today. i guess i buy books that i know i'll love and want to re-read later on. some are just impulse buys. some i buy b/c i couldn't find them in the library.
with library books, its mostly impulses, or if i'm not sure if i'll even like the book. i've taken...
ah, the fountainhead. i bought it over the summer b/c it was on sale [$3 =D] but i can't seem to completely get into it.. i keep pausing. i still haven't gotten past Chapter 10.. one of these days.. one of these days
of course there is. so many artists/writers have had these troubles. i guess its a source of inspiration. i was trying to get over a bout with depression i had in the beginning of the summer, and i was thinking how misery is my muse
hmm i dont really know. maybe thats why im reading around 7 books right now. i just stop and come across another one for a while.. i guess it depends if i bought the book ahead of time and really wanted to read it
i started reading da vinci code and stopped when i heard that angels and demons is like.. a prelude or w/e the term is. i'd read angels and demons first
i own so many of those.. i really had a phase. i remember being made fun of it before they became really popular. i haven't read any other them in years though... they probably have a book for college students.. i liked the teenager ones
it reminds me of a story my AP european history teacher told our class. every class has to read the excerpt from praises of folly by erasmus... and one guy said how he can't b/c its against his religion.. catholics have the index of forbidden books... he actually got away with it since my...
we had to read a book from the school library 3 days out of the school week in my 10th grade english class.. my english teacher had a 30 or 35 page rule
