Children's Books you still love to read today.

I don't think a kids book should have two wolves trying to kill each other on the cover - if that's what they're actually doing.

How Many Books Do You Read in a Year (approx.)?

On an unrelated but slightly relevant note- What do they call it when you have an obsession for collecting books just because they're books, - bibliomania - and you read books constantly - bookworm - and just have an all around love of books - bibliphily - ? This year I've read maybe 60-80...

You know you're addicted to reading when...

Ah the textbook I've read my English textbook 2 times-ish because it was occasionally boring in study hall after I finished a book. I recommend sherlock holmes and the red-headed league. It even had it's own bookmark.

The Earth Shall Topple Upon It's Axis

What? That's completely illogical and proves your mental instability. Also he was slow to speak, not retarded and insane.

    Mature Discussion Forum

Small issue in forums First of all: Has anyone else noticed that in nearly all forums someone says something that completely tears away the minor attention span of all but the few without ADD. Second of all: SFG75, why would it make for poor boundaries being friends with minors? What's...

    Late Night Reading

The latest I stayed up was around maybe 11:00 - noon because I wanted to finish that book then and there and wouldn't take sleep for an answer, the book I think might have been bullfinch's mythology.

I took another test Apparently I am bad with patterns because the test I posted earlier gave me a 108 and then I took another test (text) and was given a 127. Which I have averaged on 2 other tests.

The Earth Shall Topple Upon It's Axis

Spell Check If God wanted you to be a prophet shouldn't he have endowed you with the ability to spell, and maybe a few grammar lessons on top of that. I agree that you should put the damn thing on Lulu. Thrust, nobody here cares, the only reason I am even checking this thread is because the...

The Earth Shall Topple Upon It's Axis

In my Opinion The only thing that makes a god such is worshippers, your god is new, what makes you right and hundreds of other and older religions wrong? Gods, idols, deities, all thousands of years older and you're a firm beliver in the newer one. Pathetic, get a mythology book, compare to...

    Bram Stoker: Dracula

Yes, I am talking about the original and I'm only a bit from the end, it's very interesting, at times hard to put down and not as difficult or even at all as difficult as you made it out to be. When I was waiting I almost began to dread reading it because some of you said it is a daunting...

    Your Personal Library

I've Gotten More! I now have 812 books and manuscripts of which I am reading Bram Stoker's - Dracula. Good read that, with only 32 pages to go I plan on reading frankenstein next and then getting back to Michael Crichton. Also: Does anyone else have a goal for how many books they want...

    IQ test

I found an awesome IQ test and wanted you guys to take it. http://www.iqtest.dk/main.swf My IQ is 108 and I'm 15 so apparently my IQ is higher than about 70% of the population, on average, of America. I want you to answer honestly and I don't want bragging or fun poking.

    Bram Stoker: Dracula

I know Staring at a computer screen for more than 15 minutes, reading, gives me a throbbing headache. So it may or may not take me 2 months reading it on computer.

    Bram Stoker: Dracula

Normally, yes Normally I would ask before ordering it, but I had to get it while I was there otherwise I would have had to wait a week more than I wanted because they order on sunday, I went on saturday and they usually get the books by friday, so I still basically have to wait a week, rather...

    Bram Stoker: Dracula

Bram Stoker's Dracula I recently ordered this book and would like to know how it is before I get it. But spoilers would be a little irritating so put the spoiler thingies around any main storyline part.

The Earth Shall Topple Upon It's Axis

If you're religious Now I am forced to add to that. We've been around for less time than many species but we think we have the most right to live, as though making tools gives us seniority. But also to you religious people unless you worship the most ancient god that mankind knows of, your...
