I have read most of The Dragonrider books. Clean and easy to read books. I remember the first time I read any of them it was 3 book volume the Dragonriders of Pern. For a month or so afterward I would have lovely dreams about my own dragon and fighting threads. Then I would wake up disappointed...
Anything by Steinbeck or Salinger , I highly recommend.
Though not a true classic but it will be considered one in due time is "Watership Down" by Richard Adams. You know I have actually have had people giggle when I said that it was one of my favorite books of all time. I guess they can not...

I just started "Battlefield Earth" by L. Ron Hubbard. First book of his I ever tried and I am thoroughly enjoying it. I have seen it many times and always passed over it escpecially after all the negative criticism over the film.

I have read both "The Sparrow" and "The Children of God". Both are well written and complex views into the struggles of faith.These are books that long after being put down they stay with you. I am anxiously awaiting her next book!!
