Has anyone else heard about the new Alice in Wonderland movie, directed by Tim Burton? Supposedly Johnny Depp is playing the Mad Hatter.
I read about this on another forum, but I can't find it now
I would be upset if I were in her position- but as said before, she majorly over-reacted. She isn't the first person that this has happened to, nor will she be the last.
I'm not even going to really go into detail about why I didnt like it... but I didnt.
I also think she should have spread the story out a bit more... did it seem rushed to anyone else?
Well, she isnt my favorite...the Host was really good.
But her writing and her books are kind of...well.. no-brainers, I guess.
You dont have to think or use your head to read her books... Especially with Twilight
I cannot stand the sounds of people eating. It literally makes me sick.
If you are chewing something in my company, PLEASE for gawd's sake keep your mouth shut and make as little noise as possible.
I love reading pretty much anything and everything... If I'm reading non-fiction though, it's usually about the time periods between the 15th and 18th century
And.. who am I watching out for...?
Well I really enjoyed The Host- in fact, I'd probably shelve it with my top favorite books to read.. (Not favorite of all time, but I do enjoy reading it very much :) )
Breaking Dawn, on the other hand, greatly disappointed me. I guess I was expecting too much from Stephenie.
As anyone else...
The trilogy I'm currently reading, while not wizards, dragons and faeries, is somewhat fantasy... and very addictive, I might add.
The trilogy includes Sabriel, Lirael and Abhorsen by Garth Nix
"It was a hot, steamy summer, and the mosquitoes swarmed everywhere, from their breeding grounds in the rotten, reedy shores of the Red Lake up to the foothills of Mount Abed."
-Lirael, by Garth Nix
