What I liked about the first movie other than the plot was the introduction to the camp, the ending and the suspenseful forests shot seen through the eyes from the killer (supposedly) but I don't think that the perspective seen through the eyes of the killer was good in the actual scenes when...
Sophie's World (Sofies verden) is a great book for beginners in philosophy. It ties in information about philosophers with fiction and introduces the most famous philosophers.
I prefer the alternative of a tv licence for those that own a tv rather than a general tax that everyone suffers from but I'd much rather see the channels privatised so that you can choose to fund them or not. Perhaps if public service only had shown news and information it could have been more...
Part 6 is where Jason comes back as a zombie. How could you not love it? No but seriously, it's not uncommon that the sixth part is singled out as the best. The first two had more original storylines but the sixth part is more solid 80's splatter.
By the way, listen to Friday the 13th Panic...
In Sweden it's been suggested that the tv licence might turn into a "media licence" since they've put a lot of the programs on online. So just owning a computer with internet access might be enough for the state to demand payment for the public service television.

For something non-fictionous, I recommend "In Defence of Global Capitalism" (Till världskapitalismens försvar) by Johan Norberg. It's a response to the anti-globalisation movement.
Saw Pink Floyd’s The Wall. Felt narcissistic and the antagonism was simplistic but I enjoyed it, some parts were very impressive, I especially liked the first animation. I didn’t mind the music either.
Auster is one of my favourite authors. The books really manages to pull you in.
I like how he often lets someone in his books tell his life story to the protagonist. It gives it an aura of realism as it's not as if the author is trying to romanticise himself as the protagonist, instead it's...
What's good about the Harry Potter is the suspense and mystery. It might be formulaic, mystery books often are. But that should hopefully not be in your way when it comes to enjoying the books. Hype should also not make a difference when judging a book.
I think the merchandise was something...
I think that has been a large reason. The alcohol sale is monopolized by the state to decrease alcohol consumtion in moralistic fashion. Recent EU changes regarding the amount of alcohol you can bring with you from other countries have challanged a decrease in the alcohol tax however. At least...
The dragon looks more impressive than I thought it would though I'm not sure about the mermaids.
If one of the close ups in the trailers were of the Russian/Belarussian dude then he's probably not much like he is described in the book. If I remember correctly he was supposed to look rather...
Bred humans will eventually have the chance to be free and usually aren't castrated. Though some cultures mutilate their children I think they are a minority.
I'm quite fond of the evil nature of cats. I draw the line at parrots however, they're just vicous. I worked at a pet store once and...
The natural environment for dachshunds could be Schwarzwald or the entire dog population could be put in forests where wolves roam free. I think that at least some species of wolves are close to extinction so the dogs would probably be of help either as breeders or food.
But I don't think...
Preaching against the rainforest and its people. Not for them?
Children's books usually seem to have a very straightforward approach in the sense that they're telling the readers what's right instead of letting the reader make own conclusions. Which I find very patronising.

The internet is a funny place. Individuals who mistreats their body (by for example cutting or starving themselves) because they possibly feel like outcasts can join large communities with people who do the same and receive advice how to continue with what they’re doing.
