Third Watch. It was the first show that I utterly fell in love with and got obsessed with. I really fell in love with the show during it's second season (2000/01), when the viewers got to know the characters and got to see their flaws and not as the heroes that they are made to be; also I...

I read this book about a few years ago, when I took a 20th Century Russian Literature course in university and found the book very fascinating. My favourite part of the book was the death party that took place near the end. It was interesting to see all these evil people having a party :eek...
Because I know I will be unable to recall what you guys are talking about in regards to the spoilers, I am going to have to watch the end credits when I rent the movie in a few months; then I will know what you are referring to.
I always read the back cover to see if it's something I am interested in, even if I am familiar with the book (habit I suppose). If there are reviews on the back, I get annoyed as anything if I can't find something that summarizes the book and usually warrents further investigation. Of course...
Depends on what sort of mood I am in; for the most part I like to have my books in the best condition as possible, including the books I borrow from the library. But when I read them, I tend to get some food on them, the spine cracked, etc; makes the book look like it was loved and enjoyed I...
I have to agree with Monkeycatcher's sentiments on the book; overall it was an excellent read and I loved the plot, but I found the end of the book to be rather quick, almost like the author wanted to finish the book off as quickly as possible.
Highly recommend it.

*August is going to be a much more productive month; I've got a car trip to Alberta coming up in a couple of weeks and will have time then to read more, hopefully, well, at least...
I would have to say the Harry Potter series, as it is the only series that I have pretty much read during the last while. While I have read other series during the years, most of them were cheesy Christian historical romance books, although The O'Malley series was a good one.
I voted, but few of the ones that I voted for to be on the all-stars edition. Honestly, I don't like the BB6 alliance, except for James; they seem to be ruling the house and nobody else seems to have a chance in getting HOH right now. Just wish they could be denied a chance to get the HOH for...
I just want to know what you guys think of Canadian authors in general and if you have read any other authors besides the usual. :) I know of plenty of Canadian authors and have some of their works in my possession and would just like to know what you think of them in general.
I guess i...
The book that really changed my reading experience had to be when I read "East of Eden" a few years back. I don't know what it was about the book, but it made me really appreicate really good books that have a certain sort of complexity to them. But I guess the first book that changed...
