Thanks, I should look at the first one you mentioned...but I don't even remember typing up the second, so I may just go and stare at that. Anyhow, thanks for the comment.
I used to plow through any book I had in two days, but discovered that in retrospect when I tried to revidualize my favorite scenes from the story that it all seemed like some incomprehensible blur. I take weeks or perhaps even a month now(and of course I don't read as much as I used to, anywa)...
I think your dad was being a little too kind-hearted. Though his words seemed forgiving, his heart cried, "THIS ENDING SUCKED ASS!"
It's sad, but we move on. *shakes fists*
This is something I recently wrote and had fun putting out, even though it turned into something I hadn't planned. And the subject topic isn't entirely original, either, but I suppose that's why it turned out short. Anyhow, criticism is very appreciated and eagerly asked for. If you want to tear...
I agree, and I apologize. Mainly because I don't remember typing that...but I'm quite positive it was recent. My humblest apologies, and I'm not trying to be snide, even though I'm sure it's coming off that way.
I have to admit--Jesus was a very creative author, and it was wise to have his fanbse write up the rest for him. But seriously, Jc, the last chapter in Bible One was awesome--I really would like to read the sequel.
The Horses, the Crowned Dragon, the Plagues...DAMN, imagine when we get to see...
I wish I knew piano, along with violin, and, just to appease my metal friends, guitar. But the one I already play along with the two fore mentioned I really/would really enjoy.
Something just occured to me the other day. Every time I finish a novel I really enjoy I immediately go to Amazon and click on all the one-star reviews. Harsh criticisms are always entertaining.
And to SFG: STOP MAKING FUN OF ME! :(
:p
Muhahahahhaa.
Yes, and it also leads to a short story titled Oscar's Hallway. SFG I think I love you--then again this is one of the first things I've written using first-person narrative...I never knew how flexibly easy it could be to write a narrative when you don't have to waste time...
Ho--Lee--Crap.
That article just sent one hell of a short story flashing through my brain.
TO THE TYPE MOBILE!
(And the article was just darn awesome, too; Thanks SFG)
Pretty much the same for me in regards to what Rien said. However, some times, it's a tad hard to actually finding a good book, and it takes a couple days or so to get going again. I don't mind though, because in periods like that I get more writing done.
