Yep that is a really long protein. Not generally used unless you are a biochemist or you are looking for a really (longest in English language) long word for word of the day:D In short I always use C1289H2051N343O375S8 :)

Books That Grab You By The Throat

Vince Flynn Read his first 4 novels. Fast paced action intigue spy terrorism books. Like Clancy. Real page turners, I had severe sleep loss when reading these, then depression when I finished them :) . Don't you hate it when a good book finishes? I have not read his fifth novel yet...

Jimmy The Hand by Raymond E Feist and S M Stirling. Been reading it for a few days, and it's trotting along nicely. They are just about to get to the village (not a spoiler as it's on the back cover). I've read all the riftwar series plus the lengends, of which this is the third. I really...

    Sara Douglass

Pretty much agree with you, I did enjoy the trilogy a lot but I have not bothered reading anymore of her books. Saying that it was her debut novel and for that I think it's great. the whole plot has been done before, in various forms but she managed to inject a lively style. Just...

    New Books

You can get bargin books in Australia but they are generally in supermarkets and are not too brilliant, occassionally there is a gem, but 50p and 1 pound decent books *cough*, not here. Book shops charge the moon, well the standard RRP. So jealous, but not worth moving back to the UK for :)...

    Dark Fantasy

Not so complex, the premise is out there, (as in out of this world), multiverse multiplanes, eternal champion. Moorcock wrote a lot of books which can vary from one series to another quite a lot. Start with the Elric series, this is darker than say (wakens brain cells) Corum? Elric 1. The...

    British Imperialism

Agreed, would be nice to get back on topic, even empire building seen through the critical eye of Monty Python would be a huge improvement. The British Empire, when did it die? And who says it's Dead? Praline: Hello, I wish to register a complaint . . . Hello? Miss? Politician: What do...
