I've read the first book and really enjoyed it, although it can be hard to work out what is going on, stick with it cos it all comes together.
Read the book as quickly as posible otherwise you'll forget what is happening and you'll be lost. Good value $$$$ wise as they are looooooong books.
they are all out, have a look in the library, or ebay. They are quite tightly held so they are hard to find in second hand bookshops.

After his last one I gave up on him. I've noticed he has another novel out about Hover Car Racing.

Was made into a film, not so good but the book is hilarious. If you've ever shared accomodation, read this.
The RD is a long book as are all in the trilogy. I find with all these vast book that cover a lot of ground it is easy to get a bit lost. My advice is to read these books as fast as possible. This will keep things fresh and save re-reading chapters or skipping back to a section to discover who...
Agreed.
A very complex book lots happening, which is all linked together, just keep at it. There are major factions warring and within those factions there are subplots galore.
I did get lost at some stages of the book, but persistance got me through it as once you read more things are...
