Yes, this is a no whining zone. (no whining from the author about criticism)
A historical fiction series we've cooked up, after spending several months researching the thing. My husband put quite a bit of his family history in it (Sicily), and some from mine, though I had to switch islands...

In this corner... weighing 5 pounds, three ounces... the stalwart pillar of traditional publishing, hardbound with approximately 320 pages, re-enforced with glue, taking up anywhere from 1/2 an inch to four inches of bookshelf space... the defending champion... The Paper...
lmao...
As humbling it is to have people point out yon inevitable writing errs, it is a far cry better than to witness the myriad of:
"oh I luve yer work! *squeal* (heart heart smiley)"
Thanks again for the sideways pointers; I am vastly enjoying my persual of the posts in these...

Riddlin?
LOL...

As far as publishers, we are in the process of publishing into paperback...
I just found this forum and am glad to see so many literary folk posting here. With my husband I write all kinds of fiction ebooks in several genres (mostly romance); my man helps keep reality ensconsed in the books and adds much flavor to the various characters. His books are (of course) the...
