I've been debating about the kindle for awhile. I can't decide if I'll be able to adapt to not having an actual paper copy of whatever I'm reading, which seems a bit silly. My birthday's not until August but I may be asking for it then.
I actually do have some. :eek:
My fiance loves The Da Vinci Code. It must be in the basement. We have a few boxes of books down there.
He keeps trying to egt me to read it but I don't have the heart.
I got them for free from my church. My fiance is Catholic, so I'm in the process of converting. I'm not very religious though and it's definitely not one of my usual conversation starters. :)
I have three very rambunctious cats (they're all one year old so still pretty hyper) but luckily...
Ok, here are my bookshelves. I try not to buy too many books because I don't have the money. I rent books from bookswim.com but if I can't find what I'm looking for there, then sometimes I'm forced to buy.
I'm impressed when I go to someone's house and they actually have books. I'm shocked by the amount of people that have maybe one or two books in their house--or none!
ETA: If I came to your house, sparkchaser, I'd be digging through your books. I love when people just have bookshelves and...
The two books that come to mind are Prep, by Curtis Settenfield and Be True to Your School, by Bob Greene, but both are about high school students.
Prep is the story of a girl who goes away to boarding school, so it still has somewhat of a college like atmosphere.

I've almost finished it and it's very fascinating but heartbreaking. I found it on my bookshelf--I have no idea hwere it came from. Maybe my mom? Funny how random books just show up. :)
