I have been so broke that I haven't been buying books recently. Today I sold some stuff to half price books, and they had a Modern Library version of Thomas Wolfe's Look Homeward Angel for 7 bucks. It has the original owners inscription in the front cover from 1938. I love stuff like that.

I read My Sister's Keeper and loved it. Then I read Plain Truth. it was good, but some of the characters were too similiar to characters in My Sister's Keeper. So I'm not sure if I just picked the wrong Picoult book to read next. I intend to try something else by her at some point.

their first 2 albums were brilliant, but it seemed like each album after that was a little less brilliant that the one before. Still, those first 2 albums are just amazing.

I use it because a lot of my friends from high school are on it, and our reunion is coming up. For me it's an easy way to stay in touch. Apparently it really helped them contact people for the reunion as well.

This was the 2nd of his books that I read, and I really enjoyed it. After working my way through all but 2 of his books I have to say that The Flanders Panel is one of his best.

i really enjoyed The Bonesetter's Daughter. I got to see Amy on her book tour for it, and it was really great to hear her talk about the novel. Bonesetter's Daughter was light years better than her latest, Saving Fish From Drowning.

I love to read at the park, but since I live in Houston it's too hot most of the year to go to the park.
