    Legolas over-rated?

Well, I have to admit that I was exceptionally pleased with Legolas. He was my favourite character in the books and he was the one I was most concerned about in the movies. I just didn't know how they would portray him and the rest of the elves for that matter and I didn't want my own images...

    Jane Austen

My favourite Jane Austin novel would have to be Northanger Abbey. I love Pride and Prejudice, but Northanger Abbey is quite funny. After all it is about the silliest heroine ever. :)

    R.A. Salvatore

I think he is great. I have read a lot of his books, but not all of them yet. He tells a good story.

Marion Zimmer Bradley: The Mists of Avalon

I read Mysts of Avalon about 14 years ago. It was one of the first fantasy books I read and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Fantasy book with wizards and warriors and stuff?

Raymond E Fiest is a great fantasy author. You could begin with Magician. It's the first book of the Riftwar Saga.

    Charles Dickens

I had to read several of Dickens' novels at uni. My favourite was Great Expectations. I found Oliver Twist distressing and I wasn't that impressed with Hard Times. I never actually finished Bleak House. I wasn't able to get over the several page description of the fog. Although it may sound...

    Greetings

Hi there. I was directed to this site by my fellow book lover, Jemima Aslana. I am female and am not revealing my age. ;) I'm a secondary school English teacher, who is a hopeless speller, so try not to hold it against me. I love reading, always have, but tend to read more fantasy...
