    harry potter 3

I agree with Ice. We just got back from seeing the movie and I came out of it disappointed. I felt the new director really chopped up the book and left out some pertinent information. For people like my husband, who haven't read the books, they leave the theater with a "Huh?" feeling. All the...

    Circular thoughts in my head..

M.R.- I don't know if you posted that to get responses from the rest of us, or just to get it off your chest, but I'm in a position right now where I am tired of worrying about my own issues and I welcome the problems of others. It sounds like your friend was upset that you rejected her...

    Raven, you are back!!!!^&^

Holy cow, Raven. Where the *beep* have you been? I was beginning to hallucinate from the lack of witty flirtations you share with all the known members of the opposite sex. :D Glad to have you back. Hope things are going well for you.

Stephen King: Wolves Of The Calla

It does have an introduction and that is what scared me the most. After I read it, it still didn't ring any bells of remembrance. I think I'll be stuck re-reading either the whole set or at least the last one :(

Stephen King: Wolves Of The Calla

Lies, it has been awhile (like a few years) since I read the last book in this series. How hard do you think it will be to get into Wolves of the Calla? I have it and I picked it up to try and start reading it the other day, but I realized that I don't remember much. Will that be a problem?

hi, I'm bobby, I'm 20 and I just love to play those goddamn video games!

An oldie but a goodie.. Has anyone played one of the Leisure Suit Larry games?

I know a book is good when......

I know it is a good book when the whole world disappears and I am totally immersed in the book. My husband could be standing right next to me asking a question and I would never know it, because I've become a part of the book. Also, if I want to read it again, or draw out the time it takes me...

    Plans for the weekend?

We're on a budget too, but my sister told me about a new used bookstore in my area, so I am hoping they have some good deals on some older books I've been wanting! :D

    Plans for the weekend?

Don't feel too sorry for me. I am feeling this overwhelming urge to go book shopping and I don't think I'll be able to limit myself to one or two books. Book shopping always perks up my spirits! :D

    Plans for the weekend?

Unfortunately, I have to work Saturday :( and possibly Monday, so this won't be much of a weekend for me. Although, with the spare time I have, I'll be reading something. :D

    Book 6

Snape needs a woman. It might soften him a little. :D It just doesn't feel right to have Harry and Hermione get together. She and Ron make a cuter couple. Maybe Harry is meant to be a bachelor....

Welcome! We hope you like it here. I'm an Anne Rice fan too. The Mayfair Witches' series is one of my favorites. I met her once. She is a very nice person.

    Books/Authors you hate

Ok, I know this may spark some debate, but I cannot stand John Grisham. If I ever need to read something that puts me to sleep or bores the living daylights out of me, I'll pick up one of his books.

    Dan Brown

I happen to like Dan Brown. I have just started Angels and Demons and if I didn't have to earn a living and buy food and toys for the dog, then I would be home right now, reading the entire book in one day. But, I must say that I don't take his work as anything more than fiction. I take the...

    Game: Eyemaze

12.8 and I'm quitting for now, because it is addicting and I'm at work. I'll just gome home later and spend hours trying to get to the top. :)

When And Where Do You Read?

I LOVE to read in the bath. I can lock myself in and escape into whatever I am reading. I read in the car. I also try to get some reading in before, during and after work. Always read before falling asleep. I agree with Speedy, rainy days are the best.

    Stephen King

No, I didn't like The Tommyknockers. I couldn't really get into it. I did like Thinner though. I don't really remember Rage. Have you read The Eyes of the Dragon? That was also one of my favorites!
