    The problem with Amazon, at least as far as middle eastern destinations are concerned, is the high delivery prices. The price of the books you order often doubles after you include delivery costs. So Amazon works great if you want to order one special, hard to find book once in a while, but...

    I tend to fight to the bitter end, but Bulgakov's The Master and Margarita was so utterly boring and senseless that it got the honor of being the first book in a long time that I just threw away with disgust, feeling sorry for the time I wasted on it.

    Thanks for the welcome. Frankly, I reccomend LibraryThing. I said that I intended to use the site as an online backup, but as things turned out, eLibPro became the offline backup instead. :) Since both the site and the program have good import/export options, it's easy to keep them synchronized...
