I like his plots, Novella, but sometimes his writing could be tighter. Always an entertaining read, though. Comes up with great pieces in between pages.

I didn't really get into it, Simmons, but only because vampires and fantasy are not my cup of tea. Can't review it then, as it wouldn't do you justice. I'm sure someone else on the forum will have better feedback. Saw it on Amazon. Chiz.
Tried. Not only did it hurt my eye-sight, but with an infant son, I found myself spraying gym-infested books with crazy disinfectant before they touched my doorway. It's a no! no! Øystein for me, I'm afraid.
Perhaps not a bad idea to change it for something lighter, until your mood returns, when you can really enjoy and perhaps appreciate The Life of Pi. When I feel like this in reading, it's usually the book I'm out of. As you've been enjoying yours earlier, could be just that your mind is tired...
