YES, YES, YES!
I was actually thinking along a similar line just this past week. I have problems with severe back pain following an epidural injury and several subsequent back surgeries and the pain and the disability it causes can really get you down. Anyways, through books I am...
i only care if i think it is going to be of some greater value - like a first editioin/first printing (especially first imprint). i actually found a first edition/first printing of The Sourcerer's Stone the other day for really cheap! i don't think they even checked at the book store. i wish...
I was just about to post about this book! I just bought it at half price books for $3 and so far so good! I'm about 1/5 through. it is pretty long, but quick read so far. interesting.
yes, a pair of leather sandals i can only get in mexico. i bought my first pair there like 6 years ago and wore them out in about three and went back and got three pairs in different styles to last me until next time. i always get compliments on them and people asking where they can find some...
i don't believe in reincarnation, but in my youth, i was a bit of a punk lol you should have seen my hair and the colors varied often! ;) i was sweet trouble. all the moms loved me of my friends, but they shouldn't have. i am a completely different person now, though. what is sad is that...
yes, neverland is rather pricey. my treehouse is a fortune! ;)
incidentally, i agree with gem. we bought as soon as we could afford it and saved money and had an investment, as our home has appreciated quite a bit over the years, whereas with renting it just goes down a hole.
well, i don't think it could get worse than manhattan at around $3000 a month for a one-bedroom.
incidentally, where i am, for rentals, isn't much better. a nice two-bedroom apartment would be around that, maybe a tad less. and i'm NOT in CA or London.
Honey Brown, Shiner Bock, Dos Equis Amber, Negro Modelo, Corona (with a twist of lime), Guinness, basically dark ales (Corona is my only exception and it has to have a lime in it). There are some others that I can't remember the name of. I especially like ones with a bit of a sweet aftertaste...
i second this. i actually had a hairdresser really mess up highlights for me once and after a week of being miserable i sought out a well-known (and unfortunately expensive) hairdresser to make it right, but it was well worth the money and he made it look better than ever!
next time ask for a good ole shot of bicillin or rocephin that'll knock it out with no need to eat.
oh, and i'm proud of you!;)
get simalison's ear infection/ache drops. they are homeopathic and they are great. wonderful at quick pain relief.
