the incest for one thing and that is just the beginning and the whole nursing issue (and for those who haven't read it and don't understand what i am talking about i am not anti-nursing - in fact, my husband often calls me a breastfeeding nazi! lol! i do get a bit fanatical about the...
no, i didn't know, but someone was kind enough to PM me and let me know how to turn them on and off.
although, did you know that even with your spoiler tags, if you are subscribed to the thread, that the entire text shows up in email?
i am the same way. it is like this weird obsessive/compulsive thing. i have only three books that i listed and two I WILL FINISH NO MATTER WHAT, but i will say i was able to put one down and hope i don't ever feel compelled to finish it (Lasher by Anne Rice - I felt it was polluting my mind...
she didn't quit writing, though
speaking of, i didn't finish her book Lasher. It just grossed me out.
oh, and i didn't finish Russka or that book by Aleksander Solzaneitzan (sp?). I plan to finish them. They are just so long I got absorbed in other things in life, put them aside, and...

so sad! ;)

i'm hurting particularly bad at the moment and am...
well, i have already done that - sort of. i homeschool my kids using a classical approach with a HUGE emphasis on literature (and history of course). everything that is to be learned can be learned from books. they ARE the center of the universe! ;)
oh, and i have an idea for a novel in...
welcome!
one of my dearest friends is from Germany (was a foreign exchange student when we were in high school) and she still comes here often (just saw her a few weeks ago). one of these days i DO plan on visiting her.
she taught me only a handful of things in German.
i think you are...
i stayed (SPOILER)
But was hoping to see depp (and for the person who asked - ANOTHER SPOILER SO SCROLL DOWN AGAIN)
they went back to the cannibals and they were worshipping the dog who had a large human bone in his mouth.
i think they dragged it out so they could make one story into two movies. otherwise, i think it would have been quite good to just make one movie about the story and leave it at that.
