I loved this! Did you see the chemistry test? Once my instructor for organic chem II lab wrote something to the effect of "products must actually exist" on one of my quizzes.
When I was in highschool my European history teacher told us the one about Catherine the Great and the horse in order to make her more interesting to us (I hope  ). He insisted it was definately true. When I sugested it might be a slanderous rumor I was shouted down. According to snopes...
Well, this is my mom's story. It didn't happen to me and I can't vauch for its validity. But according to her...
She was visiting her friends house and everyone was sitting in the kitchen. After a while an old woman came into the room and sat down. She never said a word. As my mother...
Microscopy appealed to me because it was an artistic-scientific skill and it work really well with me undergrad degree.
I hadn't really thought about how other people appreciate these images. I'm really glad you said that because it put it in a whole new light for me. Thank you.
Thanks, Libre! I am a microbiology student and I am interested in going into microscopy which involves taking photos like this with an intense microscope. Do you think it would be interesting?
I think Jean-Pierre Jeunet is a very skilled director. He has an unusal sense for expressing emotions visually in his films (for example Amelie melting into a pool of water when she is nervous). He seems to be a romantic and an optimist.
Ions, I'm curious about what you mean too.

According to a ton of websites
"illegal purposes" probably means copying foreign unreleased films and reselling them? I don't feel like looking up laws.
I am just guessing that these laws were brought to court by US film makers to stop pirating in other nations. I doubt the focus of...
My favourite is the Cadburry Dairy Milk milk chocolate bar. In the states we only have the big size which are nice for fixing me when I really need some chocolate. But I remember that in England there is a variety of sizes...They must not be as popular here.
Stupid Rita. I live in Lafayette, LA and things are pretty intense right now. We don't have to evacuate but people are really worried. When Katarina hit people here were going swimming and having birthday parties in the back yard. Things have certainly changed. The streets are jammed, the...
I have to say I disagree with you there, Sanyuja. To me it wasn't a "small mistake."
I don't think it was even ever a really small mistake. He just let a terrible lie snowball into complete deception. And even though Mr. Boone responsibley cared for his son this deception .
I did feel...
Every show you listed in your first post is an HBO series, so maybe you would like their new show Rome .
Wonderfulls is pretty good and you can catch reruns of it LOGO.
I know what you mean about frozen fish...I wonder if I've ever had fresh fish. Not very often anyway. I think the fish at the market is mostly frozen and shipped. Even so, I still like seafood.
My mum and I lived in an apartment complex in New Jersey. When we first moved in we were approached by our new neighbor. He was a softspoken polite young man. He told my mother he was in a band.
At 2 am the same night we were jolted awake by the loudest metal music I had ever heard in my...
