What's the Most You Paid for a Single Book?

$17 for "Where the Wild Things Are" for my son. I had no idea. I was in one of those christmas shopping modes, had the clerk get the book from the back, and ring me up. Then I looked at my receipt. Now, I frown at anything more than $12.

    Your age

I'm 31, and I just now bought books 1 - 6. I avoided them thinking they were too sci-fi (I know, I know) and aimed at a younger audience. Then I noticed a LOT of people my age were reading, or had read already. I can't wait to jump into book 1. What also made me purchase it is now I'll...

Need book suggestions for a sister...

You are right on it.....in those 3 years, maybe 4 or 5 even, soooooooooo much can happen. So much DOES happen. And, sometimes, we don't listen. We just have to live it, and get passed it, and we will. We do.

Buy. Or borrow. But even then if the book is really good, I'll buy it so I've got it for my own. I need trophies at the end. :)

What do you use as a bookmark?
