I only go to the movies once in a while, and it's about $20 for the two of us, if we eat, add $10 to that. WHY we chose to spend $20 on Borat was a question for both of us afterwards. And we both agreed, that was one to skip. We called our friends immediately and stopped them from making...

I'm still amazed that any of this came to a surprise to you. It's like listening to Howard Stern hoping he might say something intelligent.

Need book suggestions for a sister...

Fear of Flying is a great book. I've got a coworker reading it now, female 22ish, and a friend who's 30 reading it also. Both are really excited to finish it. It touches on everything real that a woman/young woman thinks about. Almost everything. And it is so real. It's a fictional...

Need book suggestions for a sister...

You did so perfectly, thank you. Its great to want to help and get a great book for her to read and learn from, but maybe now is the time to work on a relationship with her. Find out who she is while you help her find out who she wants to be. :o

Need book suggestions for a sister...

I'm curious.....being her sister, why is it NOW that you've become so interested in getting to know your sister? What are your ages if you don't mind, or the age difference between the two of you that now at Christmas you want to find out who she is? Maybe this is her problem. She has no...

Book suggestions, along the lines of '1984'

It's an incredible story, one I will re-read later. Here is the synopsis. Pi Patel is an unusual boy. The son of a zookeeper, he has an encyclopedic knowledge of animal behavior, a fervent love of stories, and practices not only his native Hinduism, but also Christianity and Islam. When Pi...

How should I arrange the books on my new bookshelf?

How do you look for a book at borders/barnes/target.....? Sort them that way. Which ever way you're used to finding what you're looking for now, do it that way. Why change a good thing.
