Are you competing in the dance competition? That's fabulous! I have worked so hard today, I don't think I'll make it much past 10.
Carpet or hard floors?
I got my potatoes planted this morning, and am currently taking a break from painting the bathroom. I don't know how much more excitement I can take!
ANd you?
Perhaps, but imagine the uproar if they had cast a black president. After all, a white president is fairly generic; it doesn't point fingers at anyone in particular, but a black president would be a direct representation of President Obama. I can just imagine the furor on both sides of the aisle...
Pong, I think.
Did you know that baby wood ducks will jump out of a VERY tall tree when they are ready toleave the nest? (I did not, scared the crap out of me when it started raining ducklings on me one morning)
Chef boyardee, ROFL!
Yep, I had an atari, my dad made me pack it up along with a bunch of other toys and give it to a less fortunate family for Christmas. I was 12,it sucked. I think he just wanted the TV back.
First video game you ever played?
I've never been metal detecting, that sounds fun though. I am hoping it will be dry enough by Sunday to plant my potatoes, and maybe paint the hall bathroom tomorrow. We'll see how lazy I feel :)
Geekiest hobby you have?
Yes, I have a very old tall tea mug with a lid in a Chinese style with a flowering branch and some birds. It belonged to my mother, so it must be at least 40 years old.
Same.
I loved horse books when I was a kid, and I still have the entire Black Stallion series, but I would have to say my absolute favorite is still a little known book called The Ghost of Dibble Hollow by May Nickerson Wallace. I read it again a couple of years ago and still liked it.
Do you still...
