And Daisy. She died last summer. I watched her mother give birth to her, and I watched her die. She was 17 years old. I had her longer than I've had my family. I don't have the heart to get another one yet, although I think I'm getting close :)
Kali cat. She died last spring - I don't know how old she was, because I was the 2nd owner (her 1st owner died), but I suspect about 16 or so. I had her for around 10 years.
My dad always says I was born with a book in my hand, and I really cannot remember a time when I couldn't read - I know I could read before I went to school. When I was six, my Grandma bought me The Big Story Book - it was about 600 pages long (large type) and had around 100 or so fairy-tale...
Yeah, I was born in New York, and I have family that always asks "Do you think you'll ever move back home?" Hell no! I'll take the scorching summer heat any day.
