    Two words: short stories. I usually find something to love in any given year's edition of —Pushcart Prize —The O. Henry Awards/Prize Stories —Best American Short Stories (I usually find something not to love in any given year, too, so two more words: library books.)

    Nick Hornby

    Speaking with the Angel is a book of short stories he commissioned to raise money for schools for autistic children. I was disappointed by most of the stories, but the book is still worth seeking out for Hornby's essay and his own story, "Nipple Jesus".
