My favorite Obama supporters are Rednecks for Obama. Check out the comments pages in the guest book. Love the rednecks and hillbillies too, especially these ones.
Go Obama!
Wow, I just found this feature at another forum I attend. Getting used to the idea...but, yeah, I still find time to check up on the old book and reader and whatnot. The Eightletters game is pretty dimblasted addictive - still playing like a mad dog despite my middling level as a player. Try it...
"Well, no you can't, girls, cause I've got big plans for them," etc., etc. There's lots of kids who don't know any better, but we just shoo them away if they're a problem. If there are "big doings" what can they say, but sputter a bit as you shut the door. I know... some can be pretty...
When I first read this a couple years ago, I was stunned by its complexity and the layers of activity. Despite this, it is more than just an intellectual exercise. The first tastes of Shade's poem have a beauty and depth, unbelievable from a novelist; I read the start of the poem many times over...
I had the Tetris bug too for a while, but I'm crap at crosswords. They're way too hard. My current addiction, Eight Letters, is fast-paced and competitive-a hard combination to avoid in my book. Try it! I'm torriblezone over there. Off to work, see ya.:)
Unique, ladies! Uniquely in excess of forty years of age on this board; and "ouchie," refers only to the jolt of going over the fifty bump.:)
It's a pretty fun ride when I've got all these great games to be addicted to. See signature. And book forums to lurk upon.
Hey, I was just pointing out the uniqueness of old ladies in the poll. I'm actually a younger old lady since I'm being technical. I'm so-o-o-o young, my eldest (21) is still at home.
Thanks for the flower, ABC and one more for you.:flowers:
Many people, for many reasons, intentionally speak in ways that are understandable only to themselves and those in their immediate social circles. For example, some american blacks may want to remain culturally insulated for reasons such as remaining unintelligible to authorities who can...
Looks like California is well represented here - I'm number three so far, though I'm a born and raised provincial one. Greetings to SeoulMan and Sleepy, and welcome to the wild west.;)
There are too many authors in this world and too many books on my list, intentionally to tie myself to a long string of novels all by the same person. I've done it with a few series that I started with my children, but they're fantasy and SF which are not preferred genres overall.
Yes, there...
Gary Paulsen has written many books along that line, though the majority of the ones I read were in the nineties with my children. They're pretty good, even if they may be unrelated to the one to which you refer. Wikipedia article. He did have quite a few books from that period, but none that I...
Hey, I'm at sea too. Being beseeched by a stowaway to intervene with the captain on his behalf. But it's 1849. We're destined for California apparently.
"He was swimming, rotating from front to back, thrashing his arms and legs and puffing out his cheeks, and it seemed as if he'd been swimming forever...."
