Poppy, the beer is no good anyway, I wasn't drinking it in the first place. Only needed it as a prop for listening to that type music. It must have been a Bud or something. The tears couldn't possibly hurt that.
I don't have a song, but it sure puts me in mind of the Hank Williams song with the line, ".. how can I free your doubtful mind and melt your cold, cold heart.." Wish I could remember the rest, dang it, I love those maudlin old tunes.
Misspell fish?
