I'll pick up books that have cool covers first, but I won't buy them because of the cool covers. I'll read the inside cover or the back of the book to find out what the book is about first. Then I'll move on to the other books and do the same as the above.
I really don't see the need for a toolbar when you could just make a list of favourites. It would save the hassle of having a toolbar that is not need at the top of your internet explorer screen.
She definatley has the ability to interperet the way a teenager is growing up and by showing that he has emotions, she breaks away from other genres. Other generes when they have kids growing up, they just describe the way the person grows in general. JK describes how he grows, but also...
The person that should rightfully be up there is Ginny. I think this because last book there was a romantic interest devolping and I think that in some way, the relationship between Ginny and Harry will get her killed.
She woulden't kill him anyways because if she did then what would the book be called? If and when she ever does it will happen in the last book. I believe that they will both die because of some unforeseen circumstance that even Dumbledore did not know about.
I honestly think that Ginny might...
Yeah thats another thing. I don't like lending out my new books in case it slips my mind and then when I go to get it back they still are not done with it. I don't usually end up getting them back unless it's a book that I really enjoyed and get after them about :P
Harry Potter is a book about witchs and wizards who attend a wizarding/witchcraft school. I don't understand how it's trying too hard to be "wizardy-ish".
Hey,
Welcome to the fourm, I only joined recently as well but have been enjoying my stay. I've learned about a few books that I'm really interested in reading now.
I'm sure you'll enjoy your stay as well :)
Yeah, I have to agree with you on that. He is definatley an intelligent man and is extremeley capable of eluding arrest.
I love this show so much. I only started watching this season but my girlfriends brother has the first three seasons on DVD so I have been borrowing them off him :)
Palmer was the president in the first season. This season is amazing and is only getting better :)
I believe we're in hour 19 though. So it's a little late to join in watching now.
But I would definatley reccomend this show to anyone.
I'm currently in highschool and I haven't really had many books to read.
I did read "The Giver" by - Lois Lowry
I utterly despise this book, not because I've read it numerous times but because of the way it is written. It's bland and there is no excitement. It is very slow paced and there...
I know he is more or less a kids author, but I do enjoy his Land Of Elyon series and I was wondering if anyone else here has read "The Dark Hills Divide" the first in the trilogy.
Simpsons has become un-funny. There has only been a select few that I have enjoyed watching in that past weeks.
The futuristic one was pretty awsome though :)
