I like reading history (mainly Ancient Egypt), craft books, some philosophy, writing guides and English language books (like English language history and style guides).

Generally from Borders or Barnes&Noble. Sometimes from Amazon as well. I don't generally buy from used bookstores, since the ones around my area don't have a great selection. I live 45 minutes from the city, and those used bookstores would probably have the best.

Looking at my bookshelves, either John Saul, Dean Koontz, or Stephen King. A lot of the books by one author I own are long series, like the Sword of Truth series or the Dresden Files series.
