    IMO A Clockwork Orange definately was not his best work. It just received alot of notoriety due to the movie. I think it's a bit ironic that everyone knows Burgess by that particular work considering that the publishers cut the 21st chapter completely draining the book (and movie) to any solid...

    I love Anthony Burgess but unfortunately I am running out of fiction works by Burgess that I have not read.
