Yes, Michigan the Halo books are quite enjoyable. So far, it's very interesting and action-packed!
Yeah, I think video-game-based books can be very enjoyable. I'm not sure if you've heard about this game or not but StarCraft is on my TBR list.
Happy Thanksgiving! :)
I completely agree. Everyone has there own opinion on what was BEST. There may be some that were recognized by the media, but it's still a matter of opinion.
I thought Prey was probably Crichton's best. And I think Gizmo pretty much said what I wanted, if you haven't read all of em how...
Alright! I'm sorry, I was having trouble picking out a book and it's neither of the ones listed above.
I am now reading The Halo Trilogy. It includes Halo: The Fall of Reach, Halo: The Flood, and finally Halo: First Strike.
As many of you may know, it's also a very popular video...
I decided to put down Hunted Past Reason {Never even started on it} because I decided to read a book I've been wanting to for a while.
The Terminal Man by Michael Crichton
Cujo by Stephen King.
It was pretty good. This is my 2nd book by King and I plan on only reading one more. Cujo was pretty sad also. King took a rabies case and turned into something so thrilling and suspenseful. He's a good author.
I was surprised to not see John Ringo on the list. He's a great sci fi writer. I don't like how the list is MORE towards fantasy and sci fi, I personally, don't like fantasy very much. I love sci fi though.
If I was the teacher, I would feel very offended as well. BUT, I wouldn't care. It's their grade if they wanna screw it over, their problem. But like someone on here, if they do that and still make good grades, that's great!
What?! I didn't think the end of The Cabinet of Curiosities was crap. The ending could've been better but still, I liked it. I like Pendergast personally... as well as, lieutenant D'agosta. But... oh well... I hear Still Life was supposed to be great..
1) The Sam McCade Series, by William C. Dietz (Great Sci-fi!)
2) Relic, by Douglas Preston and Lincoln Child (Suspenseful, awesome!)
3) The Cabinet of Curiosities, by Douglas Preston and Lincoln Child (Great!)
4) The Long Walk, by Richard Bachman/Stephen King (this book was...woah)
5)...
AWESOME! I'm Douglas Preston and Lincoln Child's number one fan :) I haven't met many people who are into them. I've read: Relic, Reliquary, and The Cabinet of Curiosities by them. Still Life With Crows is next for me. Tell me how it is, Gizmo!
My friend loved this book. He's always tellin my how awesome it was too. he's always begging me to read it, but I've put it on my TBR list. I don't like vampires... they're too bloody. Ever since I saw this movie where this girl vampire bites down on this guys wrist and starts sucking ... *shivers*
I just finished The Long Walk, by Stephen King. The ending was little hard to understand but I went to the SK website and it was explained. Very good book.
I read Of Mice and Men! I thought it would be boring as well, but I enjoyed it even though it was very sad.
