This is what I accidentally discovered. I made a list of 5 books to read. And I was doing well, til I started the fifth book. I had a very hard time trying to start it. So, I snuck in another book on the list and dropped the 5th book to the next book to read on the list. I actually do not...
My Sister's Keeper.
Great story. Then the end turned out devastatingly mundane. I had thought..., "Gee, this is a great writer." Then she turns out to be almost as good as Paolini. :(
I was thinking about the dynastic overule of Bush this morning, how Bush Sr. could not accomplish to screw U.S. middle class has been perfectly accomplished by George W. The excess deficit and the mid-east crisis are handed into the laps of U.S. citizens and their children to pay in the...
You have to log in to browse or search inside a book. But, even if you want to read it by doing Look Inside function it is only limited to few pages, at most 10 pages or so. Images are mostly blocked. I truly doubt anyone can pull a thesis paper with such limited resources. It would be...
Please reread my post. To reiterate: I don't recommend them, nor do I ban them. But, I am not going to give it to them when it is used blatantly without purpose over and over again. It is my opinion. To state further of my opinion, there are throngs of books out there that do not say "God's...
I also recommend Coraline. It is bit creepy otherwise it's clean and very interesting. And Ibbotson's stories are recommendable. Then, there's Hoot by Hiassen. And Dragonrider, Thieflord by Cornelia Funke. She also wrote many other great stories.
At age of ten, he might want to challenge...

If I focus my eyes on the top left corner, the girl turns ccw.
If I stare at her or top right, the girl turns cw.
If you kinda focus on and off on the left corner the girl sways back and forth.
Neat.
I'm not 160 though.
Most of the time, I try to refrain from watching, til I read the book.
But, I guess it's like what F.Moon said, depends on how exciting the movie was. Also depends on what kind of review the book would have.
Such as 'I am Legend' which was pretty interesting as a movie, but when I...
Canada is one place I would like to live at, as well as Arizona. Sigh... so many places yet only 1 life. What's worse, only 1 job.
p.s.: Welcome aboard! :)
Inkheart by Cornelia Funke will be turned into a movie. The book is great. Second book, Inkspell, is beautiful. The third book, Inkdeath, is out in German only. It should be out in English this autumn.
