It doesn't both me. But we did have this not too long ago. And then a poll about it. What I read or did not read is not the point. I just asked a question or two.

Isn't this exactly the same as the "I Just Finished Reading" thread that we all voted to get rid of? Minus being a "sticky". And doesn't that lead to the question of, if you read all these books, did you post about them? The point of not having a place to just list books you've read was...

I prefer the culture of a forum to be more open. I like the constant flow of new members, and what they may or may not bring. I don't really care for the idea of a "private club" where participation is by invitation only. I feel a forum of potential hundreds, or thousands of members...
