    I just finished reading ' A fine balance' by Rohinton Mistry. I thoght the book was magnificent and superbly written. anyone has read it? what is your oppinion on it. I would definetly reccomend it to anyone who is interested in Indian culture.

    Why is reading 'dorky'?

    It's true that people these days prefer a movie over a book, but I prefer otherwise. If I fall over a good book, I'll buy it and read it. A movie takes only 2 hours out of my time and it is a lazy way of exercising the brain. Everything is made up for me, the images, the colors, the movie sets...

    I remember trying to read 'the plague' by albert campus a long time ago and I found it terribly boring. I hope I don't ruin the fun for you, but I found the book not interesting at all :(

    hi, I would like to introduce myself. I love reading and I have read many books in my life. In fact, I have just self-publish a book on my own. The book is fiction but based on my own adventures in Asia where I traveled for 7 months on my own. mpop.:cool:
