Might have to check it out. I have read some of his older stuff awhile back, but not any of his newer stuff. I read "The Revelation" not long ago.
I just got "The Dispatch" and "The Collection", but have not had a chance to crack them open yet.
Well said. I still sometimes get into thinking I need to finish a book fast so I can move on to the next one without really enjoying what I am reading.
Yup, good eyes. I have read all the Narnia books at least 5 times now and the Space trilogy twice. I also have his "til we have faces" - pretty good.
There are 3 Peretti books there - "The Oath", "This Present Darkess" & "Piercing The Darkness"

When I was younger - (18 I think) - I played on a football team for the "Regina Apostolic Church" and my number was 42, so I have been RAC42 since then. Don't know why that has stuck with me for so long.
There is a series by Harry Turtledove called American Empire. Can't remember how many books there were. Not sure if this is what you are after.

Chronicles of Narnia and The Iron Man
The Iron Man is one of the first books I remember reading by myself when I was young. The movie - Iron Giant - was okay, but there was so much more in the book, even though it was very short.
