I tried reading it years ago when it first came out and couldn't seem to get into it. I finally read the whole thing last summer and I was surprised how much I liked it this time around. I would recommend it.
There are two Canadian women I like to listen to.
Sarah Slean and Bif Naked.
I have seen Sarah live twice, once with a full band and once just her playing piano and singing. Both were great. She was trained in classical music and you can hear that in what she is doing now. She has a great...
I just couldn't get into Dinosaur Planet by Anne McCaffrey. Read about 5 pages and then sold it at our annual garage sale. It was like the book started in the middle of the story. Maybe it was just me though, as I've seen good reviews for this book.

Here is a news story I found about a used bookstore owner burning his books in a kind of protest about declining sales.
Sorry if it is too long, I don't have enough posts yet, so I am not able to just put in the link.
KANSAS CITY, Missouri (AP) -- Tom Wayne amassed thousands of books in...
I have most of his books, and am trying to get to them all. My favorite so far would be Lightning.
I just finished The Husband last night, and thought it was pretty good. There are no alien, paranormal, horror elements in it. It is just a good old fashioned thriller with some good unexpected...
Six Shooters by Dean Spiros - Story about the Sutter Brothers from Alberta Canada. Six brothers who all played in the NHL at the same time. There was a seventh brother who decided not to play, who was supposedly the best player of them all.
