I actually had nightmares for a while after reading "The Terrible Tudors" from the Horrible Histories series. I kept thinking that Tudor-style executioners would chop off my head when I was asleep. I was, however, around 6 years old at the time.
Christmas, because (A) I'm a Christian, (B) it's a time when all the family comes together and the source of many happy memories, (C) you don't feel guilty because you're the only one getting presents and (D) it's in winter, and winter is the best of seasons.
The only good point about...
Whoever thought that Jesus was an eternal baby? Since I was tiny I've been making easter gardens on Good Friday, replete with cross-endowed Golgotha and Joseph of Arimathea's tomb. Okay, so I was a morbid infant.
Otherwise I think it was just a gradual realisation, none of those things came...
Uuuurrgh, just spent too long writing about postmodernism and its impact upon the study of history (if indeed there is such a thing) in my AEA history exam. Now my hand hurts.

My dad works in A&E (I believe that's ER to you American types) and so I have no desire whatsoever to ride a motorbike. He's dealt with one too many casualties from that line.
At school I deal with all the technological doodads for assembly, so at final assembly I'm going to strike that up over the PA when the headmaster walks in! (Imperial March that is, obviously.) Now if only I could find a phalanx of sith guards.
My sister's boyfriend brought around his PC today. a 3gHz Pentium 4 (overclocked to 3.6, naturally,) about a gig of DDR 400 RAM, a 200gB serial-88 hard drive. It only had a 64mB GeForce 2 in the graphics department, but otherwise, top-notch. Fast. Very fast. My only problem was that all my games...
I love the LotR OSTs, and the Matrix soundtrack is very good indeed as well. However, some that definitely deserve a mention are Joe Hisaishi's scores for numerous Hayao Miyazaki films, especially Princess Mononoke and Spirited Away-they are absolutely beautiful.
