I also do some writing, but my projects are top secret; hush, hush, until they're all done and approved, reworked and rewritten once more, and then once more approved. :)
I don't know how many kilometers per hour I read, but my speed is about a book per month, so not that fast. This is mostly because I need to stop to think about what I've just read to completely enjoy the story. Sometimes I can read for hours though, but most of the time I stop when something...
It is actually a high tech device that is attached to the head of the prisoner, where it reads brainwaves of the prisoner and gives our underground research attachement valuable information on how these foul creatures think and what is their next move.
As we all know rabbits and squirrels...
Nyse, you're giving us slogans, instead of answers to our questions.
It's easy to yell: "Stop the slavery, I will not submit!", but actually making a point to your argument is alot harder to do.
Try that for a change.
Law is banana. Yes. It all makes sense now.
I will interrogate our prisoner and get back to you on the weaknesses of the Rabbit Militia.
Prisoner nr. 98578 is showing signs of giving in.
It's worth a try. We need to climb to their nests and steal their nuts, then take them to the holes used as base of operations by the rabbits to frame them of this crime, and cause squirrels to loose trust in their minions. It's a high risk operation, needs to be done at night. Beware of the men...
I say the squirrels are working together with the rabbits. The town I live in is so infested with both species, I see more rabbits lurking in our backyards, and peeking thru windows than I see cars on the drive way. And squirrels will report to the rabbits on the happenings of the upstairs rooms...
I say Patrick O'Brian's Doctor Stephen Maturin.
He is a gentleman, a scholar, respected intellectual, a romantic idealist, but without a penny to his name. He is ruthless spy who will never loose touch of his mission, yet at the same time he is clumsy and comical, a landlubber living the life...
You're making it seem like the law is an evil entity, that is not controlled by humans. Law is made to protect the society. It is against the law therefore against the rules of society to make a threat against another person even in our current system.
Yeah, well you never know with these people.
Just my two cents on the issue.
Maybe Hackman likes to play jerk roles, because he can't do it in real life. He's such a big name in Hollywood, if he wanted to get out and play in other kinds of roles, I bet the big executives wouldn't stop him.
What an actor is famous of and what he is in real life don't necessearily go together.
This is especially evident in a few comedy actors for example:
Rowan Atkinson always plays the silly, naive type (Mr. Bean), but in real life he is intelligent and quite a serious man, some would say...
It's not a question of intellect, it's a question of opinion and personal beliefs.
I don't feel I'm a slave, I am a free man, living in a society ruled by majority. In this society the majority of us are willingly obeying laws. The minority, who are breaking those laws will get punished...
I think buying a book is always a good investment, even if overpriced.
$25 for a book at Barnes and Noble (I'm guessing it's an American bookstore?) will give a share to the writer or atleast up his / her sales so that he / she will get published more in the future, and therefore is an...
