I have only read the first volume yet, and lord knows when I’ll get the second one from the library, so I thought I might as well just express my opinions about what I’ve read so far.
I think it started very well. It had my full attention from the beginning. However there are some exaggerated...
Even maths, biology, chemistry, physics and economy? :D
In my case, it's fun learning things, as long as I get them. If I don't understand a thing, it's no fun any longer.
It's different though, if I have interest in it. :)
Every answer given to my english teacher about any poem, used to be wrong, since it wasn't in accordance to what she meant was the correct answer. Like she had written them all!! BLAH!
I liked the teachers who used to say that every answer on what a poetry really was about was correct...

I borrowed this book from the library a week ago, and it's next on my reading list, right after "The Count of Monte Cristo". :)
I'll let you know what I think of it. ;)
FINALLY, someone else mentions it! I really thought I was the only one around here who had read it. I agree with you, it's a great novel, and I think everyone should give it a try. It didn't sound that interesting to me when I picked it up, but it turned out to be really good. It truly is one of...
I don't think I would have given someone between the age of 11 and 15 a Charles Dickens novel to read. I, myself, have only read half of "Great Expectations", and I really don't understand how a kid at that age would be interested in this kind of book. I'm not saying it's boring or anything...
