NO point reading more than 1 by any author

But how do you know which book is the author's best, if you haven't read more than one written by him/her? Besides a book I regard as the best written by an author, you might not. You can't possibly know which ones are the best, if you haven't weighed them up with those you find...

    Dreams...

lol I refuse to believe it, but some years back my aunt told me that I was kissing in my sleep, how is that possible? The night before a test, I used to read my text-book in my sleep. I didn't sleep before memorizing everything that needed to be studied. So when I went to sleep, I pictured...

Qualities of a great short story

I don't get Hemingway. After reading one of his short stories, I had no clue whatsoever, what it was about. I read "Hills Like White Elephants", and all it did, was make me feel stupid. I thought the two main characters were having an everyday-conversation, while they actually were talking...

    John Grisham

I've only read one book written by John Grisham, and that's "The King of Torts". I didn't like it. Maybe it got something to do with the fact that I'm not that into mystery & thrillers. But I've wanted to read "The Street Lawyer" though... so I think I'll give it a try some day.

    #4 Questionaire

Nah, I would say tennis is better. I haven't played it myself though, but I prefer watching a tennis match rather than a badminton match (on tv). (Got nothing to do with the female tennis players ;) ). It's just that my eyes don't manage keeping track with the shuttlecock, it moves too fast, I...

Qualities of a great short story

I like short stories, which need to be read more than once, to be understood. They must require a little thinking, and be kind of like a puzzle, that needs to be "solved" by the reader, and be dwelled on for quite a time. This reminds me of a short story that we were given on an exam to...
