I think "Daughter of Fortune" comes first.
However, I have read "Portrait in Sepia", and I didn't like it much. It's probably a really great novel for a lot of people, but at times I just found it to be really boring. It might just be me, or maybe it was the translation, I don't know.
But it...
I just finished reading "Of Mice and Men" by John Steinbeck. I thought this book would be boring, but it wasn't at all.
I liked it, it was a very interesting read.
Fearless by Francine Pascal. It's the first book, in the endless fearless-series. I think your sister will enjoy reading it.
It's about a really cool girl, who kicks asses. ;)
I was just wondering, is it just me, or are you supposed to laugh when you read "The Hundred Secret Sences"? Because I kind of keep laughing on nearly every page. Libby-ah cracks me up. :p
YES YES YES,
read The Kite Runner by Khaled Hosseini.
Just do it! You won't regret, but if you in some miraculous way do regret, then I promise to read 3 books you suggest in return. OK?
I think it's a pretty good deal, that way, someone might actually read a book I suggest.:)
I've played it! It's COOL:D. It's a nintendo 64 game, right?
I LOVED Super Mario, on nintendo 64. I remember managing to get all the 120 stars (I think it was so many) on my OWN, without the help of anybody. :p
"The Solitaire Mystery", is very well-written, but one can easily get lost in it. Sometimes I wasn't sure where I was in the story, and which story I was in. If I don't remember wrongly, there is one story, and in that story there is an other, and in that other story there is a great deal other...
Digital Fortress (1999)
Angels & Demons (2000)
Deception Point (2001)
The Da Vinci Code (2003)
Don't think the order matters.
But I think you should read "The Da Vinci Code" first, then afterwards decide whether reading any more of Browns books is worth the time.
Just an advice. :)
I was actually listening to nothing, but after reading this thread, I remembered that I was supposed to download the song "Dry your eyes" by The Streets, so now I'm listening to it. ;)
"Once blue, forever a blue", didn't he say something like that? And the next day he was playing for Man.U.?
Seriously, I think the kid is colourblind.
Besides I don't like him, but forced to do so. :D
