actually for once i think i have managed to spam with some degree of accuracy, as our smell releases pheromones and that does attract the opposite sex. (my biology is likely a bit rusty here :o ) this guy wrote a book about it. but i am certain there are more scientific answers. on the topic...

i almost never recommend this book as sci-fi. i always say that is a love story with a twist. and like peder, i loved the plot situations that we were able to witness because of henry's ability. some of them were so, so sad, so devastating. the one that sticks in my brain is when he is talking...

i loved interview with the vampire and read all the rest but can't really remember them, maybe that says something. i also really enjoyed the witches of mayfair, mostly because of the strong female characters.
