    sounds like something my mother would do if she knew anything about american books. has your mother actually read it, or just heard heresay? you can always check it out of your school library, or ask a friend to get it. just make sure your mother doesn't find it, then you'll be in a mess...

    welcome to the forum =] russia? thats pretty cool. i was born in poland, but moved to USA when i was 7. my father's customers are russian. one of my friends is 'techincally' polish even though she has a russian accent. she mentioned something once where her grandmother spoke to her in russian

    there are some authors that i try to read all of their books. i did it with sarah dessen a few years back. i suppose its the same with listening to all the CDs from a certain band/singer. its just the assumption that all of their writing will be equally great. the author of speak didn't...
