    Explorer problem?

This happened to me a while back. Try deleting all your temporary internet files. It worked for me at the time. But now it's happened to me again, and I'll be buggered if I can't fix it.

    Mazzy Star.

I have heard of her. She is okay, nothing special for me though. I wouldn't switch it off if it came on the radio, but I don't think I would willingly put it on either.

    Disturbing trend.

I did myself think that there was no recent sf that was good ala 60s good. But then good old Martin pointed me towards Micheal Marshall Smith. He is such a breath of old air. No space operas like Banks, I like them, but not all the time, but he does real story driven sf with deep thought behind...

    Best short story

Orpheus with Clay Feet - Philip K. Dick Very, very clever story, I understand when he first released this story he released it under a pseudonym, and that makes the story even better, I can't remember much about the story except that it has to be read to be understood, as can be said of most...

    Spontaneity or fastidious planning..

Sometimes I do, sometimes I don't. I find it more fun without an idea of what's going to happen, but sometimes you just know.

    Laugh Out Loud Funny

I have finally got around to re-reading all the discworld books. I do agree that TCOM is not the best, but I'm only 30 pages into it and I have already found myself laughing out loud at least 5 times.

    execution

Marmite? Yuck, uck, yuckity yuck yuck yuck yuck! I guess it's true what they say, you either love it or you hate it. "Marmite is dark brown-colored savory spread made from the yeast that is a by-product of the brewing industry. It has a very strong, slightly salty flavor. "

SF book recommendations for me! :)

So far I've only read 'Consider Phlebas' by Iain M. Banks, but it was really good and I will be reading some others. And I just bought 'The Reality Dysfunction' today and I can't wait to read that. Okay, so Space Opera or good SF: Cities in Flight - James Blish The Stars, My...
