I like "Silver Bells" and "Carol of the Bells" tho. And even tho I'm not religious, I like "Breath of Heaven (Mary's Song)"
I've decided to celebrate Christmas by giving all my belongings to the Salvation Army. (I love those bell ringers so much!) Then for the new year, I'm going to move to Egypt and translate hieroglyphics, since I am fluent in that ancient tongue, and boy, everyone has been getting it all wrong...
I am afraid of being in a situation where I am not able to breathe. This manifests as freaking out when someone touches my throat and being very uncomfortable in elevators and sometimes very crowded places. I don't know of any traumatic situations in my past that would have triggered this, but...
I haven't been writing much but poetry lately, though generally it's fiction. While I would like to publish something someday, I know that I'm not near ready for that, so I write for myself, because I don't have a choice. It would be like not breathing.
Just started this, and am surprised that no one mentioned how beautiful the language and imagery is. Am only a handful of chapters in, but so far am impressed.
The Houston version

It's a play, so it's a short read. It's a great book to discuss, lots of themes to work thru, etc. It's not the worst thing you'll ever be assigned. Skip the movie version, though, unless you really just love Winona Ryder.
I do tend to assume everyone knows where Texas is, and no one's called me on it yet.
