In Cold Blood is phenomenal, you should start it when you have a nice block of time to read because you won't be able to put it down. Really an amazing work. Nothing else he did measures up to it.
His bio is the thing, though. His life was a kind of performance art, really.
Since I guess I'm going to be there indefinitely, I'd go for those that have the highest re-readability factor, and that provide the most meat for thought. Also, I'm going to cheat and choose compilations:
Candide (or the collected works of Voltaire :D)

I am looking forward to Sideways, a nice movie about relationships and wine, and Closer, a daring one from Mike Nichols starring Julia Roberts (in a very unsympathetic role), Clive Owen, Natalie Portman, and Jude Law.
Still on Jonathan Strange and Mr. Norell, it's so good I don't want to rush thru it and leave it behind. It's hardcover and not very portable, so I also started The Fairy Godmother by Mercedes Lackey, which is as good as the rest of her stuff. I'm thinking of having a run thru Narnia, as I...

What an underhanded way to communicate. :( You're right about watching what you say, none of us here are 100% anonymous and the written word lasts a long, long time.
The european cut has been released in the states on DVD as "Leon" and it's a completely different movie. There's at least 30 extra minutes, and it makes what was more of an action film into a full, rounded, tragic drama. I recommend it, it's a beautiful work and I don't understand the purpose...
 That's pretty freaky actually. Do you have it set so that you can receive email from members here? Or would it have to be someone who knew your email address otherwise?
